RELEASE - CCPA Receives ODOT Grant
(Wilmington, Ohio) The Clinton County Port Authority received notification from the Ohio Department of Transportation, Office of Aviation that it would receive a FY2024 Grant in support of navigational aids upgrades and repairs. The $493,000.00 Grant will be used to augment Port Authority funds for the purchase and installation of a Localizer on the 10,000-foot runway. -

Air Cargo Hub & Air Park
The Wilmington Air Park is located on 1,900 acres in central Ohio. The fully functional airport features nearly 3 million square feet of office, warehouse, and hangar space. There are two runways; 9,000 x 150ft and 10,701 x 150 ft., with CAT III instrumentation.
The Air Park has long had the capacity to serve as an Air Cargo Hub. It has been the home to cargo operations since the late 1970s. The Park provides flexibility in landing schedules, plentiful aprons, and on-site aircraft maintenance. The airport also has access to critical logistical components including water, highway and rail making it an excellent location to conduct business.
Among other businesses, Air Transportation Service Group (ATSG) makes the Wilmington Air Park their home. ATSG provide air cargo transportation to domestic and foreign air carriers. In addition, The Air Park can accommodate Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) operations. Airborne Maintenance and Engineering Services (Airborne) roperates out of four large hangars and a 100,000 sf Component Repair and Overhaul (CRO) shop. Shovel-ready sites are available for additional hangar, warehouse and office construction.
